UN Demining Experts Visit Benghazi

A delegation of the United Nations Mine Action Service (UNMAS) and the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs has visited Benghazi to asses the situation on the ground.

The UN experts have also attended a meeting on mine action organized by the Civil Society Commission and met a delegation of military engineers, the National Safety Authority, the Forensic Police and the Libyan Mine Action Center.
