Tripoli Revolutionaries Battalion Hands Over Its Locations To The Government

Tripoli Revolutionaries Battalion (TRB) has withdrawn from its headquarters in the Libyan capital, leaving them to official security authorities.

This came in the framework of ceasefire agreement recently announced in Tripoli required the TRB to transfer control over a number of strategic locations in the city center.

The headquarters such as in Dahmani street, in the vicinity of hotels of al-Waddan and al-Mahari, as well as the Al-Aqaidi HQ nearby Al-Madar street were abandoned by the TRB fighters, a security source said.

He also added that some TRB members who had been controlling those HQs were enjoying from their affiliation with the TRB in order to commit violations and crimes with impunity inside the capital.
