On Tuesday, GNA Economy Minister Ali Al-Issawi received Turkish ambassador to Libya Ahmed Dogan at the ministry’s headquarters in the capital Tripoli.
Libyan MFA reported that the meeting was also attended by the director of external trade of Libya, Ahmed Al-Akari.

The Turkish ambassador, speaking to the minister, stressed that Turkey is ready to stand with Libya to develop economy and closely follows the economic reforms under way in the Libyan ministry as well as their impact on bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
In his turn, Ali Al-Issawi emphasized the need for the resumption of suspended agreements, signed between two countries in the past period, and the return of Turkish companies to Libya.
